Shanda and Jeremy Tie The Knot at Kildaire Farm Clubhouse!

Shanda and Jeremy are such a sweet couple and entirely devoted to each other. Shanda contacted me last January to officiate their wedding on June 4th, 2016. The original plan was to having a very small wedding with just their kids in attendance in my wedding garden. But as weddings tend to do, it grew and grew as people found out they were marrying and wanted to be there.
After checking out several other venues, they decided on the Kildaire Farm Clubhouse in Cary. The section of the room they chose for the ceremony had a mirror at the end wall so they created this pretty backdrop in their wedding colors.
The other section of the clubhouse around the corner is where their reception would be. It was a busy place when Dave and I arrived for the wedding.
The Sweetheart Table was positioned in front of the fireplace so they could see all their guests!
Unfortunately there was no lighting at the end of the room for good photos from this distance but Jeremy and I entered and took our places.
Jeremy's son, Nathan, entered first from the deck.
Then Olivia, Jeremy's oldest daughter, processed down the aisle.
Jeremy's younger daughter, Haley, was next to enter.
Shanda was proudly escorted down the aisle by her father, Gregory.
And so we began with a reading from Psalms 1 followed by an opening prayer. Then we remembered those loved ones who have departed from this earth. Then we honored their parents and grandparents who were present at the ceremony. Olivia, Haley and Nathan then received a blessing and a message from Shanda with her promises to them as she married their father.
They exchanged their vows and rings.
It was my privilege and my honor to pronounce them husband and wife and invite them to kiss!
Jeremy was just waiting for that invitation to give Shanda a great big kiss!
At last they are married and now enter into their new life as a married couple.
We went out on the deck for some post-ceremony photos. Shana and Jeremy--your love for each other just shines out in every direction. What a great couple you are. You pulled off the wedding you planned surrounded by your dearest ones. I wish you and your children all the best!
