Barrow and Pam were married on July 31, 2010 at The Second Empire. I posted this wedding earlier but have received some photos by their photographer, Jamie Starling, which I thought I would post a few here. The color and clarity is amazing. Thanks, Jamie. Pam and Barrow originally planned their wedding to be in my wedding garden but the rain that day played havoc with all my weddings and they wisely decided to move it indoors and Marty and I were indeed grateful for their decision, having been rained on at Duke Gardens earlier! This photo was actually taken before the ceremony as Pam and Barrow were not doing the traditional "can't see each other before the wedding" custom. They were very relaxed and excited to be surrounded by their family and closest friends.
Can't you just feel how happy they are to be getting married?
Pam is saying her ring vows to Barrow who is listening intently. He expounded on his vows to her and surprised us all.
"Can you believe it? We are MARRIED!" Not their actual words but this shot was just after the kiss and I think that is exactly what they were thinking. Thanks again for the photos, Jamie!

Pam and Barrow Get Married at Second Empire--Plan B!
Pam contacted me in May for a small intimate wedding ceremony, possibly in my wedding garden, on July 31, 2010. She came over and took a look and loved my garden and decided that was the perfect setting for her wedding. So, she ordered chairs delivered and set up the day before. Their photographer, Jamie Starling, came over the week of the wedding to check out the site too. Regrettably, the rain on that day changed Pam's plans. She and Barrow wisely decided to move the ceremony to Second Empire where they were having the reception. The Pine Room was all set up and so we stood in the bay window for the ceremony while the guests looked on.
Standing up for Pam was her daughter Jessica. Barrow's son, Barrow III stood up for his dad. Looks like there was some color coordination going on here! The ceremony was very sweet and brief.
Barrow was so laid back! He expounded on the vows to his liking and had the guests laughing. I could tell he was so happy to be marrying Pam. And she was so excited to be marrying Barrow. Her mother was there to witness this wonderful occasion.
The big moment of the pronouncement of marriage.
What a great couple these two are! All the best to you, Barrow and Pam! I know you are going to be so happy together!
I wanted to show you the lovely table floral arrangements by Bedford Blooms. So creative and attractive.
The pastry chef at Second Empire is great! I have seen some lovely cakes she has created and here is another one! Many thanks to Tracey, the events coordinator at Second Empire for accommodating the ceremony without much advance notice.

Captured this kiss!
Congratulations all around. Pam was such a good sport about her ceremony plans being turned upside down. It did not seem to have bothered her at all. She was so gracious and so happy. What a great couple these two are! All the best to you, Barrow and Pam! I know you are going to be so happy together!
