Krystal and Todd's Wedding at Delightful Inspirations!
I married Michele and Richard in 2002 in a small private ceremony in their home. I remember the rejoicing and tears of joy from their family and friends. Well, Michele contacted me last January to see if I was available to officiate the wedding of her daughter, Krystal, at Delightful Inspirations on October 4th. Fortunately she was able to shift the time of Krystal's wedding to synchronize with another wedding I had booked for that day. So, it all worked out. Krystal and her beloved, Todd, met with me in early February and we signed the contract and they started going through all the ceremony material I sent them so they could choose what touched their hearts. They came up with a wonderful wedding ceremony that was warm and welcoming to their guests and paid tribute to their parents. Richard walked Krystal down the aisle as a proud father would and transferred her hand into Todd's. Krystal and Todd then stepped up into the gazebo symbolically taking their relationship to a higher level on their wedding day. It was a wonderful time in their lives and for all their family and friends. They really lucked out with the weather--it could not have been better! Tracy Adams of Adams and Events was the wedding director and coordinator. When Tracy is in charge, I can relax knowing everything is taken care of down to the last detail. Thanks, Tracy, it was great working yet another wedding with you! Michael Gay with Joe Bunn DJ provided the music. Megan Kimes was the photographer and helping her was Timberly Hill whom I had worked with at a wedding at Second Empire earlier this year. Anne and Jason Caspar own Delightful Inspirations and since it opened several years ago the plantings have matured and it has become a beautiful spot for an outdoor wedding. The garden area with the gazebo as the focal point has a stone walk from the covered area where the wedding party lines up--so no muddy aisle to trod upon if it rains the day before! It is quite large so very large weddings can be accommodated. The reception hall is beautiful and spacious so if the weather prohibits an outdoor wedding the ceremony can easily take place inside. In fact, I have done a wedding in the reception area there before. Anne is the wonderful caterer for the events there so you don't have to find a caterer for your wedding. Cinda of Cinda's Creative Cakes created a beautiful wedding cake for Krystal and Todd as you can see. Todd and Krystal, have a great honeymoon in Hawaii!
