The Most Beautiful Wedding Day for Kaitlyn and Logan!

When Kaitlyn and Logan met with me on January 2nd, 2016 to talk about their wedding ceremony and officiating for them on October 15th, 2016, I thought Logan looked familiar so I said so. Turns out, I had officiated the wedding of his mother, Paula, and his stepfather, Tim, in October of 2011! And Logan had escorted his mother down the aisle. I love it when I get to do more than one wedding in one family!
Their wedding day dawned sunny and pleasant temperature-wise. As always, the Jasmine Court at Brier Creek Country Club looked perfect.
Tre Bella Flowers had tied bunches baby's breath to the chairs on the aisle and sprinkled white rose petals flanking the aisle. So simple, so elegant!
Upstairs in the club in the ballroom, the tables were set and these favors placed at each table setting.
The Sweetheart table overlooks the courtyard behind it.
The cake by Cinda's Creative Cakes was beautiful and adorned with Disney characters.
Lady and The Tramp share a wedding cake too!
A page of their guest book! Their photographer was Bronwyn Duffield.
Logan and his guys and I are lined up and ready to walk in when cued by our wedding director, Nicole Ponder with Premier Party Planners. Lenny Fritts was our DJ for the ceremony and the reception too. Nicole, Lenny, and I were vendors at Logan's mom's wedding too. It was great to work together again at Logan and Kaitlyn's.
After the wedding party is in place, it is time for the bride and her father, James, to begin their walk down the aisle. (Nicole and her assistant try to get out of the photo but we see you!)
The guests stand in Kaitlyn's honor as she and her dad float down the aisle.
Kaitlyn and Logan I collaborated on their "Bells & Whistles" ceremony which began with a warm welcome to everyone, a prayer and a parents' blessing.
Kaitlyn and Logan look really happy to be in the moment as they gaze at each other with sweet smiles on their faces.
And now for their love story!
The story of how Logan proposed was so funny. Kaitlyn had no idea what was coming that day in April when they were visiting Disney World! Hence the Disney theme of their wedding.
Now to reveal to them what they had told me in confidence about what they love about each other.
Evoked a few tears from Kaitlyn!
They had each written their vows to each other and kept them secret. They read them to each other from my book and what beautiful promises they made to each other.
After exchanging rings and a closing blessing from the Irish tradition, I pronounced them married!
Good one, Logan!
And here they are, folks! The new Mr. and Mrs.!
It was so good to see Paula and Tim again. It has been 5 years and they looked just as happy this day as on their wedding day. Congratulations to you both--again!
Logan and Kaitlyn, thank you for choosing me to officiate your beautiful wedding. I loved working with you and I think you are a perfect match for each other. I know you will create a wonderful and enduring marriage. May you live the life you dream of happily ever after!
