A Wedding Ceremony Written in the Stars for Elizabeth and Jason!

Elizabeth contacted me in early May about having her wedding to Jason in my wedding garden. We settled on the date of May 28th 2016 at 2:30 PM. She had told me that hers and Jason's relationship was "written in the stars" and so I wrote a special ceremony with all kinds of references to destiny, their stars aligning, and had them hold their hands in the shape of the infinity symbol. She loved it!
So the wedding day arrived. It has been raining but had stopped. Her father escorted her down the aisle.
Their parents, their best friends and Elizabeth's dog, Daphne, were our only guests.
I welcomed everyone and then opened with a prayer.
There was a special tribute to their parents.
Daphne wants one too!
They said their vows to each other while their arms and hands formed the symbol of infinity.
The ring exchange.
"With this ring I marry you and pledge my heart to you."
I pronounce you husband and wife!
Sweet kiss!
The newlyweds!
Daphne was so sweet and so happy to be there!
I got to hold her some too. Elizabeth and Jason, you are definitely meant for each other. May all your dreams come true!

Lisa and Adam's Beautiful Wedding at Highgrove!

Lisa and Adam chose the lovely Highgrove Estates for their wedding venue. It is located on Laurel Lake in Fuquay Varina, just south of Raleigh. Their wedding day was May 28th 2016 and it was a beautiful day for their wedding.
They did a Memory Box with loveletters as their unity ceremony. They found a pretty box that looks like a book when closed. During the ceremony they placed their love letters in it to be opened on their first anniversary.
The Garden Ballroom is so pretty. Flowers by Flowers on Broad on the tables. Frank with Joe Bunn DJ Company is in the back corner setting up.
The Sweetheart table......
Cake by Sweet Memories
Lisa and Adam had really creative foods for their wedding!
No, she is not a flower girl but is definitely dressed for the part.
Looks like really yummy cookies.
Don't you know these will melt in your mouth!
Unusual shortbread cookies.
My hubby Dave, also my roadie and photographer, take a shot of himself in the big mirror.
Grace is their Highgrove director. When you have your wedding at Highgrove the director is included. A very nice benefit.
Time to begin!
Our maid of honor and best man enter after Adam escorted his mother down the aisle then joined me.
Lisa and her mother began their walk down the aisle. At the front row, her father joined them.
"Who blesses and supports Lisa as she comes to join in marriage to Adam?" Both parents responded "We do."
They transferred Lisa's hand into Adam's hand and were then seated with the guests.
The couple then turned and faced each other.
The color is Malibu Blue and it sure is pretty with all the green foliage in the background.
A tribute to their parents was next followed by the story of how they met and fell in love.
Then I revealed to each of them what the other told me they loved about them. So sweet.
They read their vows to each other from my book.
They exchanged rings.
I happily pronounced them husband and wife!
The kiss!
That "after-kiss" moment as reality sinks in!
Presenting the newlyweds to their guests!
Lisa and Adam, what a wonderful wedding you created! I loved being a part of it. Thank you for giving me the honor of joining you in matrimony!

Brittany and Megan Tie the Knot at The Cookery!

Brittany and Megan are two lovely young women who met and fell in love and wanted to wed surrounded by their very wonderful friends and families. So they chose The Cookery in Durham which fit their laid back style perfectly. They chose Amanda Scott with A Swanky Affair to help them with the planning and she sent them my way! Thank you, Amanda!
The wedding was Friday May 27th, 2016 at 6:45 PM. We had the rehearsal the day before so we were ready!
Kristen Stoneman was our DJ with Morse Entertainment. She is so good. My sound was perfect!
I did not learn the significance of the icons on the chalkboard but I know they were there for a reason!
Upstairs in the mezzanine, the tables are ready for the reception.
Amanda got us all lined up and ready to go in. First the parents then me followed by their attendants.
Children of the couples were included too. It was very unique and it worked well!
The Cookery staff is watching as we all enter.
Megan was escorted by her father but somehow Dave missed that because it was not the traditional order but he did get Brittany just before her father escorted her in.
And so now we begin--Megan takes a good look around at everyone!
The ceremony was pretty simple, just what they wanted.
They wrote their secret vows to each other then read them to each other. Megan goes first.
Then Brittany.......
They exchanged rings.
I pronounced them married!
Finally the kiss!
The introduction of the newlyweds!
And out they go!
Brittany and Megan, thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with you and conduct your ceremony! You are a great couple and I wish you the best of everything!
