Another Beautiful Wedding at Rose Hill Plantation!

Ashley and Heinz started planning their wedding 14 months ahead of time! I met with them in March of 2013 to hear their vision of their ceremony and make it become reality on May17, 2014 at Rose Hill Plantation in Nashville--a gorgeous historical plantation estate about 50 miles east of Raleigh in Nashville, NC.
As you turned into Rose Hill, there was their sign announcing their wedding and pointing the way!
The road winds around under canopies of trees and meadows of wild flowers as well as cattle and crops.
Through the iron gates to the old manor home.
Behind the Manor house is the lake complete with fountain and white swans and other animals grazing on the other side of the lake. The ceremony will take place at the gazebo that extends out onto the lake. The English Garden did the pretty jars of flowers on hooks lining the aisle as well as the bridesmaids bouquets, groomsmen's boutonnieres, and the centerpieces of the table.
In the gazebo was their Marriage Box containing a love letter to each other, a bottle of wine and two glasses to be opened on their 50th wedding anniversary, or earlier if they have any troubles.
Inside Nathan Hall was the "guest book." It is a pretty dish for the guests to sign.
Nathan Hall with pretty up-lighting!
Such beautiful details for the favors and place settings. Ashley and her bridesmaids made wedding programs too--one of the prettiest I've ever seen.
The exterior of Nathan Hall. Often cocktails are served on the front porch prior to the reception.
This is a view of the rear of the Manor house with the huge back porch overlooking the lake.
Inside the sunporch on the other side of the house is where Roxanne, the resident parrot, makes her home. She whistles and talks and can meow just like a cat!
The man cave where the guys hang out prior to the ceremony!
This is Nicole, the onsite event manager, for Rose Hill Plantation. She makes sure everything is going according to plan!
Lenny and I conferring on some ceremony detail. Lenny Fritts (Touch of Class DJ) is one of my very favorite DJs. I know I can always count on him to first make sure the sound is perfect and second, third and fourth, get the wedding party out of the house and lined up ready to process in. Lenny will do whatever it takes to make sure the wedding day is as perfect as possible for the couple. Not only is he the DJ for this wedding but the one next weekend too.
All the guests have been seated and we are ready to begin the ceremony!
After the seating of the grandparents and parents, it is time for the guys and I go march in.
The handsome groomsmen! Then the bridesmaids.
Father and bride!
Lou transfers Ashley's hand into Heinz's and she gives him a kiss goodbye.
Carolina blue was the color scheme. Such pretty bridesmaids in blue.
I loved telling their story! They loved hearing it and so did their guests. They met in 2008 at Barton College at a party. They have been together since their first date on September 29th, 2008. The proposal came in 2011and the wedding planning began.
They then exchanged their vows and rings.
Nailing the Marriage Box shut!
I put my hand on theirs and pronounced them husband and wife.
Yep, they've been practicing that kiss!
Ashley and Heinz, you planned a very beautiful wedding with all the bells and whistles! I know you are glad it went so well and that now you can enjoy being married. I wish you the very best of everything!
